Cadence Daniels

Embodying my family's nomadic mindset, I spent my early life moving within urban Minnesota and the countryside of Texas. After many more moves, I am now based in New York.

My work lies between experience design, immersive technology, and social advocacy. With a background in product development and media production, I am both a creative and technical designer.

I kicked off my career at General Electric (GE) as a Rotational User Interface (UI) Designer & Developer. There, I later discovered design systems and component libraries as a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer.

As a Senior User Experience (UX) Design Lead at Microsoft, I then extended my experience in design systems and creative leadership for digital marketing platforms.

Now, at JPMorgan Chase, I’m learning the world of financial services as a UX Design Lead, VP for small business payments.

In 2018, I received my Bachelor of Science from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where I studied Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Science. There, I developed research on technology ethics and morally responsible product development.

Beyond my efforts to elevate inclusion, entrepreneurship, and community development, I am devoted to advocating for everyday people through the innovation of human interaction, creativity, and empowerment.

When I’m offline, you can find me binge-reading, eating dumplings, playing volleyball, or taking photos of my cats, Dime & Shortē.
